Endurocad Satellite and Regional athletes produce sterling performances over the weekend


A busy weekend which saw 22 Endurocad athletes in action at various competitions around the country. Here are the results of the athletes that competed in the respective disciplines:


Five athletes were crowned provincial senior champions. At the WPA Senior Champs held in Parow, Nolene Conrad and Illeana Dreyer won the 5000m and 3000mSC respectively. While Young Rowhaldo Ratz won the 10000m event. At the CGA Championships at UJ Stadium Tumisang Monnatlala won the 3000m steeplechase , Simonay Weitsz the 800m and Cornelia Joubert took the 10000m title.

Road Running

Sattelite athletes Bonginkosi Zwane and Sipho Mbanjwa competed at this road race and finished 2nd and 8th overall. Meanwhile at the K-way 15km in JHB Young Caleb Beukes won the Junior category of the race in a time of 51min55sec.


Vicky Van Der Merwe was the only satellite athlete in action at the SA Triathlon Championships in Bloemfontein this weekend. She finished 3rd in the Elite woman’s devision.

Trail Running

Landie Greyling and her partner Meg Mackenzie did well to win African X 3 days stage trail run. They won all 3 stages resulting in an overall win. Thabang Madiba and his partner Kane Reilly finished 3rd overall.
